The iTero Element IntraOral scanner is a handheld, digital scanner that allows us to get a precise impression of your smile. We will use a small, wand-like device to take thousands of images of your teeth within seconds. It’s comfortable, quick and incredibly accurate.
We will move our iTero scanner carefully around your mouth to get a full view of your teeth and gums from all angles. This will help us create an accurate 3D model of your smile. We can use this model to understand the extent of your orthodontic issues, and plan the course of treatment.
The iTero digital scanner is especially effective when paired with Invisalign® treatment. The impressions we take can be inserted into the Invisalign® Outcome Simulator to show you what your teeth will look like after you have finished Invisalign® treatment.
